Katie has a long history of working in the theatre and film industry, though mostly theatre. She began in theatre in high school, and hasn’t quite been able to let it go. Her undergraduate degree is in theatre, and she also spent a couple of years in California working as an extra in projects like “The West Wing”, “Monk”, and “Superbad”. She is currently on the Board of the Dragonfly Theater in Dedham, MA. 

Her real life has taken a different turn; she works as a Director of Human Resources for a non-profit agency in Newton, MA and has her MBA. But her theatre training comes in handy for that as well, allowing her to go with the flow and improvise when she needs to. She also uses her theatrical skills to make presentations and think on her feet. 

Her experience in both Human Resources and the theatre add up to someone who is engaging, warm, bright, kind, calm, and friendly, and those aspects come out in her voiceover work. She completes projects in a timely manner in her home studio, using Audacity with her AudioBox USB96 and audio-technica microphone.
